THE PARTY The Buckhead Heritage Society’s “Party in the Pasture” brought out over 400 supporters of the city’s historic preservation for a sunny, afternoon fall festival on the grounds of one of Buckhead’s private estates and was sponsored by Paces Construction Company. THE CAUSE All proceeds from the festival benefited the Buckhead Heritage Society’s Oral History Project, educational programming and advocacy efforts to save the Buckhead community’s historic landmarks. THE SCENE Guests nibbled on barbecue; listened to bluegrass; and participated in hayrides, blacksmithing demonstrations, woodworking, beekeeping and face and pumpkin painting. Photos by Ross Henderson
