THE PARTY This year’s Mahealani event had guests trying to solve the mystery of a missing diamond necklace. The Royal Caper, as it was called, brought an interactive element to the annual fundraiser. THE HIGHLIGHTS A special tribute was paid to Joe and Judy Fadrowsky, longtime supporters of The Children’s Alliance of Hawai‘i. The silent auction featured many noteworthy items, including a 2012 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, a trip for two to San Francisco and, of course, a diamond necklace (at the center of The Royal Caper).
