The Houston Ballet’s Nutcracker Market has long been a huge draw for Houston shoppers, attracting them by the thousands for a four-day, vendor-laden excursion. This year’s event, chaired by Sharon Erskine, raked in a record-setting $3 million for the Ballet. In addition to the shopping affair, there were also a pair of fashionable lunches, like the Saks Fifth Avenue fashion show and luncheon, chaired by Karen Hartnett and Carol Simmons.
