A pair of parties toasted charitable cookbook Green Beans and Guacamole in Uptown. At RDG + Bar Annie, author Belinda Hillhouse welcomed guests to a cocktail hour and meet-and-greet with several of the book’s featured chefs. Inspired by her son Austin Hanson, proceeds from the book go to area nonprofits The Arc of Katy and The Arc of Greater Houston. Meanwhile, clothing store M Penner, where Hillhouse works, threw open its doors for a signing and celebrity fashion show, where models including Houston magazine Editor-in-Chief Jeff Gremillion, along with Hanson himself, donned dapper duds.
